Our Christmas dinner party was held at the Duke on the Green recently, and it turned out to be a really lovely evening! The booking staff were great, always on hand for any questions or queries when booking in advance. We thank Daria for all her help with the overall booking of our table, and all of the menu choices. During the evening, the staff were quick and efficient, friendly, and always on hand to provide the course meals on time, as well as drinks throughout the night. The food was fantastic, and we all went away feeling very satisfied, and very merry indeed! We would highly recommend it!

I often visit this pub for Sunday lunch or drinks however wanted to review for Christmas lunch 2022! Absolutely flawless. So much thought had gone into everything, from the lovely table decorations to the little bag of Lily’s Kitchen dog treats wrapped with a bow for my dog who was with me! The food was delicious- all came out hot and fresh and the staff were all so lovely and didn’t rush us between courses and really just let us enjoy being out on Xmas day. I’ve been other places before for Xmas lunch and this was by far the best. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend , and would definitely come back next year! Thank you!

I booked there my Company Xmas party and I am so delighted with how it went! Every single person working at the Duke is so warm and welcoming, from weeks before the event to the same night. I booked for 25 ppl and we ended up being many more, having to change food last minute due to dietary requirements and Daria and the rest of the team were so responsive and accomodating, The space reserved for us was perfect, it was so beautifully decorated and felt super cosy. We had always couple of friendly waiting staff asking us if we were ok, making us feel at home. Festive food was delicious. Thank you so much Team @ Duke! You really made a difference in the way the event went!
